I’m an electrician and have been for most of my life.

I remember the day my wife asked me to install a generator in her home in Long Island, New York. She wanted backup power so she didn’t have to worry during power outages; for me, it was a no brainer. I could easily do this for her and went about finding the perfect solution.

An Unanticipated Roadblock

Then, I ran into the most unexpected barrier. Her town has lot line restrictions and noise ordinances that won’t allow for the installation of a gas generator because the houses are too close together and the side yards too small.

When I found that out, I was really upset. It was such a simple thing I could do for her and they stopped me.

Back Up Power Should Be Accessible to Everyone

That got me thinking about the other barriers that prevent people from being able to have access to backup power, like lot line restrictions, noise restrictions, people who live in condominiums, and even those people who want an eco-friendly, environmentally safe solution.

Peace of mind during a power outage should be accessible to anyone, but sometimes rules and regulations don’t allow for it.

It’s Time to Buck the System

With the problem stewing in my mind, I finally fell asleep that night. Hours later, an idea woke me up. An idea for a better way to provide anyone, in any type of home including condominiums, and even small businesses, a way to access backup power that could not be denied by bylaws.

I was called Bronco Billy growing up, I guess because I was a bit of a wild horse who liked to buck the system and do my own thing. So when the idea came to me to invent a battery powered indoor generator with no gas, no cords, and no noise, it was obvious I was once again bucking the system.

Introducing the Bronco Power Boost

A little over a year after perfecting our patented technology, the Bronco Power Boost was born.

It’s a supplemental electrical power source that automatically turns on during a power outage without any noticeable interruption in your power. It’s environmentally-friendly, without any risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, and about the size of two 24-packs of beer! And when it comes on, one of the first things people say is how quiet it is. It can power your essentials, such as a refrigerator, lights, security system, WiFi, and devices. With the addition of the optional solar kit, usage can be extended indefinitely.
