Load Shedding
The Bronco will provide 16-20 hours of controlled backup power, depending on consumption, in a load shed situation without any of the added options. The Bronco load shed will automatically return to grid power should the customer use the majority of the battery.
• Utility has on-demand access to turn the load shedding on or off from a remote site.
• The Bronco unit instantly transfers the customers’ essentials to the battery system and, completely off the grid, the customer continues with full essential electrical capabilities.
Typical blackouts or load shed situations are becoming more and more prevalent with the dependance of solar power and the age of our electrical grid. Often gas co-gens are used to help alleviate the stress on the grid and with the use of the eco-friendly Bronco Power Boost we have a simple solution.
The Bronco has the essentials connected to its patented battery technology and can remotely be switched by the utility to run all of the essentials and completely remove these loads from the grid.
During load shedding or a power outage, the seamless blink of a light lets you know that the Bronco has been switched over. The essentials are on the Bronco and the remainder of the home is still on grid power.
The homeowner also has Bronco automatic backup power for the essentials in the event of an outage.
Based on your section of the grid and the KW’s you need to shed, Bronco can put together a project that would include the ETL, UL9540 approved Bronco Power Boost, labeled with your utility name, software for complete access and control of the Broncos, an app that monitors the actual load of each Bronco, the amount of shed from the grid, typical installation in the residence or business and a 2-year warranty.

Medical freezers/coolers and sump pumps can be plugged directly into the Bronco floor or wall unit for backup power during an outage, allowing you to keep vaccines safe and your basement from flooding. The Bronco plugs into any available outlet to keep battery 100% charged until needed.

Off Grid Cabin
The Bronco, along with our 800-Watt roof mounted solar panel system, is perfect for off-grid conditions. In areas where electrical service is unavailable, too difficult or costly to install, or purely for self-sustainability, the Bronco can power your essential electrical devices as well as gas or propane heat and hot water. We suggest an extra battery along with the solar panels to ensure continuous, un-interrupted power during your time off the grid, or you can power your USB devices separately using the Bronco bike.
